The Irish Open at Royal County Down in September was a major event attracting golf fans from around the World.  The close ties of Ireland with America also meant a high number of American visitors came.

Donnard Park was one of three toilets to be installed ahead of the 2024 Championships, and there is likely to be a makeover of other toilets on the back of the success of these first ones.

The Council issued their press statement here.
