Door Access Control

Healthmatic’s door control systems are designed to provide a secure, effective and simple means of access control at the point of entry into a toilet or other space. This can be used in conjunction with a revenue raising program or simply to control access by different user groups.

Entry control systems

  • Coin/Token operated units.
  • Contactless Card or RFID reader.
  • RADAR Key.
  • Keypad entry

Entry control systems can be used on their own or combined with other systems. eg – Coin with Contactless.

In each case a full audit trail is prepared by the system which can be printed locally or, where required, be sent direct to the web via the Cloud.

CoinpayCoin/ operated unit

The coinpay unit will give the options for:

  • Ability to set a coinage to allow access.
  • Auto open and close in morning and evening.
  • Green/Amber/Red indictors on front panel.

Client can also select

  • Electronic open/close button in place of the thumb lock.
  • Additional security bars across front.

The extremely rugged nature of the unit means it shrugs off vandalism; a 3mm thick stainless steel fascia, anti-jemmy flanges and high quality locks ensure the unit and any cash held is well protected. This makes it suitable to position in remote unmanned locations.

Coinpay can be used in conjunction with any or none of the other access systems.

Contactless Access

Clients can opt for contactless access using Nayax Onyx access systems. These can be used in conjunction with other systems or standalone on a cubicle door or main door to a toilet. In a multi door set up, it is typical to install contactless on some doors, coinpays on some and Radar on the DDA cubicles.

When installing the contactless system, you get:

  • Ability to vary the access cost price.
  • Auto open and close in morning and evening.
  • Green/Amber/Red indictors on front panel.

Client can also select

  • Electronic open/close button in place of the thumb lock.

Radar – Standard

The Radar key access option can be used as a standalone unit or alongside other systems. Radar key holders can then gain free access to the toilet.

Radar – Advanced

When joined with the Radar – Advanced, you get:

  • Radar key gives access to the cubicle.
  • Auto open and close in morning and evening.
  • Green/Amber/Red indictors on front panel.

This would be a good set up if its only Radar being used to offer access and the client wants to manage the open and close automatically.

Contactless is easy to manage

Keypad Access

In the Changing Places toilet, there is a considerable amount of expensive equipment.    It is possible to install RADAR key entry, which will prevent casual vandals from passing and causing wanton damage,  but this will not stop the many drug users and homeless who have RADAR keys using the space as their personal hotel room.

You can significantly reduce this RISK by using a Keypad entry system where the user has to know the code prior to entry.

Operation:

The door is accessible 24/7 using the keypad entry.

The user phones the number advertised beside the keypad entry which will say:

“To access this Changing Places toilet, please phone 01249 823143.  Your location is XXX”.

Our client then has two options.  Either the responder who answers the telephone (we have a 24/7 call centre) gives the caller the code to access the toilet.  Or the responder asks for the mobile phone number of the caller and then calls them back with the code.

Both have proved secure, but the second option is clearly adding a layer of security above the standard.

The Council can change the code locally, but then must inform us so that we can change the instruction.

HM Control

All systems integrate with our audit and control system – HM Control.
