Healthmatic captures data from streets, footpaths, buildings and other assets and provides assistance to the issues around asset and revenue allocation.

We have a range of devices and sensors can be operated with battery or mains power and are connected to the cloud to carry the data to your desktop in a timely and accurate way.  They can therefore be positioned anywhere you need them.

Our outdoor footfall counters for instance could be positioned in the middle of a National Park, without power, and faithfully report, via the Cloud, the footfall every day, hour by hour, back to your desktop or tablet.

We have people, car, bike and horse counters, all connected to our clients via the cloud.

Brief Background to Footfall Counting

Healthmatic first developed footfall systems to help our toilet business identify how many people were using the facilities. It had proven unreliable and untimely to wait for paperwork to come in from the field, and by fitting a communicator device and a set of sensors in each location, they were able to both improve the accuracy and the timeliness of information.

The National Lottery have also led the way in demanding accurate data upon which it makes decisions. Many parks over the last ten years have benefited from Lottery funding, and both before and after the money being spent, the Lottery uses the data we can generate from entrances to identify the benefits that have been derived.

It wasn’t long before our clients, 95% of which are Public Authorities, spotted that it was useful for them to know the data as well. When allocating resources to an asset, it was obvious that knowing how many people use it on a daily or weekly basis was essential to good decision making.
